About Me

I am a documentary photographer based in Philadelphia, with ongoing project work in Eastern North Carolina and Central Mexico. In May 2025, I completed an MA in Photojournalism from Ohio University, in Southeastern Ohio, where I lived for two years. I use a collaborative approach in my project work, initially building relationships with stakeholders over an extended period to ensure mutual trust exists between me and the people and communities I am documenting. In my project work, I explore the concept of sense of place within individuals, their families, and broader communities and seek to establish the connection these individuals and groups have with the places they call home – established, temporary, or otherwise.

Public exhibitions have emerged as an integral part of my creative process and an essential form of engagement with community stakeholders. I strive to use these installations to instill a sense of pride with groups I work with and initiate conversation about a given subject or theme.

Apart from my documentary and journalistic work, I am a commercial photographer in Philadelphia available for a wide variety of job types, ranging from weddings to corporate events. You can see work samples in the Client Work section of my website on the left-hand side.
